In November 2017 a customer alleged Stephanie Abee, while employed at Kestra Investment Services, misrepresented material facts related to certain investments in oil and gas securities and recommended investments that were unsuitable and illiquid. The customer is seeing $125,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2016 a customer alleged Stephanie Abee, while employed at TransAmerica Financial Advisors, recommended unsuitable illiquid investments and misrepresented the risks and nature of certain investments, as well as the commissions and fees associated with them.
