In February 2019 a customer alleged Demos Argyros, while employed at Oppenheimer & Company, acted negligently, breached his fiduciary duty, and breached contract in connection to allegedly unsuitable investments in equities and warrants. The customer is seeking $100,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
